non-objective.com was born in the late ’90s as a visual experiment in city travel—since then, it's mostly been a well-loved email address.

Its name nods to the non-objective art movement, inspired by Plato’s belief in
pure forms—truth without imitation, feeling without depiction.

Today, it’s a lightly abstracted portal for the work of Tom Hobbs—product designer, former VP at Meta, design leader at Samsung, Pentagram, and Adobe, now partner at squero.com.

It is not about the thing, but the space around it.
